When we hear the word herbal we immediately associate it with the word organic, which is somehow inaccurate in a certain way. Organic doesnt necessarily mean all herbal plants. The difference is on the process of growing it. Herbal plants can be grown with the help of pesticides and fertilizers, however organic plants on the other hand are grown naturally meaning no pesticides and not fertilizers to aid in the growing process. The same thing goes for organic tea. Not all herbal teas are grown in an organic way. Some herbal teas are even harvested from tea shrubs that have sprayed with pesticides or fertilizers in order to keep it healthy so once pesticides or fertilizers are used during the process that is not considered organic tea despite the fact that it is herbal.
